Licensed Funeral Directors
Applicants must hold a license in good standing with the Ontario Board of Funeral Services and will be required to perform the following duties:
perform transfers from residences, nursing homes and hospitals
embalm and prepare bodies
organize shipping and repatriation of bodies and cremated remains
drive professional vehicles
provide licensed coverage to funeral homes
Funeral Director Assistants
Experience in the funeral industry is preferred but not required. Applicants will be expected to be able to competently perform the following duties:
perform transfers from residences, nursing homes and hospitals
assist with the preparation of bodies
assist with the maintenance of professional vehicles
provide assistance to funeral homes
Professional Drivers
Experience driving funeral or professional vehicles is preferred but not required. Applicants will be expected to drive and properly maintain:
Funeral coaches
Limousines
Flower vans
Transfer vans
Parking Lot Attendents
Applicants are expected to be able to assist funeral homes with parking cars in their lots and greeting friends and family during visitation.
Telephone Answering Representatives
Applicants must be mature, professional, and articulate in English. Those with the ability to speak another language would be considered favourably. Applicants must be willing to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.
