|Allan Cole, President, Owner. Licenced Funeral Director|
Allan Cole is the President and Owner of MacKinnon & Bowes. He started with the firm in 1975. Allan was licensed as a funeral director in 1978 as he followed in his grandfathers footsteps and entered funeral service. He is the past Chair of The Funeral Profession Coalition Council of Canada (FPCCC), Current member of the Board of the Funeral Service Association of Canada, a trustee on the Funeral Service Foundation for the National Funeral Directors Association in the United States, Past Chair of Bereaved Families of Ontario (Toronto Chapter), Past President of the Canadian Funeral Trade Association, and the Toronto District Funeral Directors Association, and former director at the Ontario Board of Funeral service. Allan has the distinction as Canada's first civilian contractor for Mortuary Affairs for the Government of Canada. He has lectured throughout Canada concerning the care and handling of remains of those that have died with an infectious disease. He is certified in Mass Fatality Operations Training from the United States Department of the Air Force, Air Mobility Command. Allan has been awarded an Honorary Degree from the Canadian Forces Staff College, Senior Officers Joint Command and Staff Program (2011),
and an Honorary Bachelor of Applied Studies Degree, Health Sciences, from Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, 2009, (CARPE OPPORTUNITATES)
and the Commander of Land Force (Army) Commendation, (2008),
and the 2008 Award of Merit from The Ontario Funeral Service Association for the Repatriation of Canada's Fallen.

and the 2012 Bereaved Families of Ontario - Toronto Chapter Founders Award.

Allan was Knighted and officially invested into the Order of St. George - Canadian Priory in October 2013.
|Alex Cole, Licensed Funeral Director, Executive Management|
Alex Cole joined the firm's Management team in 2012 after receiving his funeral directors license. Alex attended Humber College of AA & T (CARPE OPPORTUNITATES) for the formal part of his Funeral Service Education. Alex is a member of the Funeral Service Association of Canada, Ontario Funeral Service Association, Toronto Funeral Directors Association, the Call Management Association of Canada (CAMX), and the National Funeral Directors Association in the United States. Alex also attended The Kellam School of Management at Dalhousie University in Halifax (Ora et Labora), Nova Scotia for Business Management with a minor in Corporate Law & Society.
|Jane Titcombe, Licensed Funeral Director, General Manager|
Jane Titcombe joined the firm in 1983 and has served as General Manager since 1985. Jane was raised in New Brunswick prior to coming to Ontario to attend school and obtain her funeral directors license. She is licensed in both Ontario and Alberta. Jane Attended the St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick and Humber College in Toronto. She is the recipient of Canada's Department of National Defence, Chief of the Defence Staff's Distinguished Service Medallion, the Commander of Land Force (Army) Commendation, (2008), and the Ontario Funeral Service Association Award of Merritt for the Care of Canada's Fallen. |Luc Gingras, Licensed Funeral Director - Supervisor|
Luc joined the firm in 1992 and has established a reputation in Funeral Service as a valuable resource for information and assistance. Luc was born in Quebec and raised in Kirkland Lake. He came to Toronto to obtain his formal education and his funeral directors license. He is fluently bilingual in French and belongs to the Quebec Thanatologists Association. Luc was licensed as a funeral director in the State of Texas. He is the recipient of Canada's Department of National Defence, Chief of the Defence Staff's Distinguished Service Medallion and the Ontario Funeral Service Association Award of Merritt for the Care of Canada's Fallen.
|Danielle Opferkuch, Licensed Funeral Director - Supervisor|
Danielle joined the firm in 2002 as a licensed funeral director. She has distinguished herself with her organizational abilities and assists with the management of personnel in the day to day operation. Danielle was born and raised in Durham region just east of Toronto. She attended Humber College in Toronto for her formal education.
|Taylor Leduc, Licensed Funeral Director - Supervisor|
Taylor Leduc joined the firm as a High School Co-Op Student in 2002. MacKinnon & Bowes is proud to say that Taylor has spent most of his career since High School with the MacKinnon and Bowes organization. He attended Humber College (Carpee Opportunitates) for Funeral Service Education and received his funeral directors license in 2005. He has worked at several funeral homes in the Toronto area and has extensive experience in helping families. Taylor has literally traveled around the world to serve Military, Government and Private Sector clients over the past several years. He proudly volunteers with the Toronto Meals on Wheels program. Taylor was born and raised in Toronto.
|Jane Pigott, Licensed Funeral Director|
Jane joined the firm in 2013 and completed her internship with MacKinnon & Bowes. She attended Dalhousie University for BA in French and Economics, then went on to attend Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology for her funeral service education. She wrote her board exams and became licensed in 2014. She comes from Ottawa and enjoys living in Toronto. She is fluently bilingual in French and English and a great addition to the MacKinnon & Bowes team.
|Amanda Harvey, Licensed Funeral Director|
Amanda joined the firm in 2009 as a telephone answering representative. She later completed her internship at MacKinnon & Bowes and successfully completed the licensing requirements in 2012. She is a Licensed Funeral Director and a training supervisor for others in the communications division. She has become well known to clients throughout Canada and the United States.
|Brian Spence, Licensed Funeral Director|
Brian Spence received his funeral directors license in 2001 and has worked for several funeral homes in the greater Toronto area. This is a second career for Brian as he spent 25 years in the Packaging industry.
|Harlee Jantzi, Licensed Funeral Director|
Harley joined MacKinnon & Bowes in 2017. She received her formal funeral service education at Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. She did her internship in Toronto and received her funeral directors license in 2017.
|Amanda Dennis, Licenced Funeral Director|
Amanda was born in Sudbury and raised in Guelph, Ontario. She joined MacKinnon & Bowes in May of 2017. Amanda attended Humber College in Toronto for her formal Funeral Service education. She has a background with frontline Healthcare delivery as well as many other employment experiences. She enjoys music, sports and traveling North with her daughter to spend time with family.
|Roger Desjarlais, Licenced Funeral Director|
Roger joined MacKinnon & Bowes in 2017. He was born and raised in Alliston, Ontario. He completed his first year of Education at Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology in Funeral Service and passed his licensing exam in 2018. Roger is particularly interested in the technical aspects of embalming and preparation of remains. He has gained and will continue to gain lots of experience at MacKinnon & Bowes.
|Jeff Molyneaux, Licenced Funeral Director|
Jeff joined our firm in 2018. He graduated Humber College in 2016 . He worked as a Funeral Director's Assistant for many years before finally getting licensed. Jeff just moved back to the city after living in Alliston. He enjoys time with friends and camping in the summer. He also loves animals. Jeff is trying to become the best funeral director her can be.
|Amanda Rainbird, Apprentice Funeral Director|
Amanda joined Mackinnon & Bowes in September 2014. She was born and raised in Toronto and trained as a make-up artist at Sheridan College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning. Amanda became interested in working in Funeral Service after several personal losses that resulted in interaction with Funeral Professionals. She attended Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology for Funeral Service Education in 2018 and commenced her Internship in the summer of 2018. She looks forward to becoming a licensed Funeral Director in 2019.
|Victoria Hulleman, Licenced Funeral Director|
Victoria commenced working at MacKinnon & Bowes in 2018. Victoria attended Humber College and was licenced in 2012. Victoria also works at Air Canada and enjoys flying around the world. She attended Mohawk College for fashion, design and tailoring.
|Erin Russell-Hill, Funeral Director Intern|
Erin joined the MacKinnon & Bowes team in 2018. She attended The Ontario College of Art and Design for her BFA in sculpture and installation, then went on to attend Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology for her funeral service education. She is passionate about helping families and is looking forward to completing her internship in 2019.
|Natasha Bryan, Funeral Director Intern|
Natasha joined our firm in 2018 after completing the requirements at Humber College to commence her internship. Natasha developed many skills and experiences from her former roles in Customer Service. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she received her degree in Psychology and Anthropology. She also attended Centennial College to receive her diploma as a Social Service Worker. She is an excellent representative for our profession and will be an exceptional funeral director.

Sarah was born and raised in Georgetown, Ontario. She attended Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning for her formal education in Funeral Service. She looks forward to completing the next portion of her education prior to writing her licensing exam in 2020. Sarah comes from a farming background and iIn her spare time she enjoys competitive tractor pulling.

Andreas started with MacKinnon & Bowes in April of 2019. He was born in Canada and raised in Germany. He is fluent in English and German. He attended Humber College for his formal education in Funeral Service and looks forward to writing his licensing exams in 2020. He enjoys competitive skeet shooting and came in 12th in the German Masters Cup for skeet shooting.

Jessica commenced working at MacKinnon & Bowes in May of 2019. Jessica was born and raised in Nova Scotia. Came to Ontario in 2012. Jessica attended Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning for her formal education in Funeral Service. She looks forward to completing the next portion of her education prior to writing her licensing exam in 2020. Jessica attended the Atlantic Canada Centre for Arts and Technology for 3d Animation prior to pursuing her funeral service goals.
Elsa joined our firm in May 2019. Elsa is fluently bilingual in French and English. She received her formal education in Funeral Service at Collège Boréal of Applied Arts and Technology in Sudbury. She looks forward to gaining lots of experience at MacKinnon & Bowes and writing her licensing exam in 2020. She enjoys biking, music and history in her spare time.
